Blog posts without pictures are boring, but i have to be faithful and document this anyway. Sorry!!
We had kind of an unusual Valentines Day to be honest. I had to work all day, and Brad had a lot of studying to do. However, we still did get a lot of time to spend together. I left a work meeting around 11:15 am, for Brad and I to go to a funeral. Brad's friend, Tanner Adams, past away and it was just a sad, sad thing for the entire Curtis family. The situation was pretty upsetting, but the funeral was incredible. It was such a happy, positive celebration of his life. After the funeral I had to rush back to work, cause the afternoon was jammed packed with patients. (Who wants to go to the dentist and have a numb mouth on Valentines Day??? Yeah, i thought the same thing) I got off work a little late, and I was feeling so bad that I didn't have a cute valentine to give Brad. I went strait home, because we were going to go to dinner with Marty and Keri, and then make a 7:15 pm movie. When i got home, the house was spotless clean, beautiful flowers on the table with a card, and another little thing to go inside my necklace Brad got me for Christmas. Oh my gosh. I was speechless. It was such a relief to come home to that, when i had been feeling frantic all day. I love him. We went to Rumbi with Marty and Keri, which was perfect. We love spending time with them. Then Bradley got tickets to go see 'The Vow' because he knew i really wanted to see it. (fyi, I don't recommend it). He is a good sport. After the movie i asked him if he liked it. His response was 'um.. yeah, as much as i could.' Bless his heart. I have to share this little part of the letter he wrote to me, because it shows the little boy in him. "WOW!!!!! We've been married six months babe...we are SO awesome! I am so excited for the next six months, and the next year, and the next FOREVER! Oh my, how cool is that? We get to hang out together forever!!! Pretty cool if you ask me! And guess what???...we get to have babies too! :)" I love when i get these snippets of his silly brain. I'm glad my husband is excited to hang out with me :)
Even though i felt like a crappy wife and didn't make anything cute for my valentine, i just loved spending time with him since we hardly get to during the week. He sure knows how to make me feel special. He is always so swamped with school, and he'll never know how much i truly appreciate how hard he works. I knew i married the best, because he only does the best in everything!
i read your blog so useful and intersting. thanks for sharing us.
