Early Morning Temple Trip

A huge thing that was on our Christmas Break to do list was to go through a session in the Salt Lake Temple. Brad's dad, Marty man, works in this temple on Saturday mornings, so we wanted to time it right to be able to attend the session that he was a part of. We woke up early, and attended the 7 am session, and boy was it worth every second. I loved attending a live session for the first time, and especially to see Marty be a part of it. After we went through the session, Brad and I were able to walk through some other parts of the temple that were pretty cool to see. And Marty showed us pictures of his Uncle (Brad's great uncle) that was a former temple president of the Salt Lake Temple. E. Ray Curtis, I think was his name? He also sealed Marty and Keri, I believe. Anyways, it was a super special morning for us. And it set the perfect tone going into the holidays.
I forgot to take a picture of us outside of the temple after, so i hurried and snapped one out the window of our car as we were leaving. Love the Salt Lake Temple!
