For one of our 'Christmas Date Nights', we went to the Hogle Zoo with Tim, and his cute little sister. Sarah was in town for a week visiting from Washington, so she became Tim's little side kick for a week. It was fun for me to meet her, and hang out with the two of them. The Zoo had some pretty good lights to see, so we just walked around and looked at them all, and enjoyed each others company.
There were hardly any animals out, but we were able to see the tigers sleeping. This picture doesn't do justice of how big this thing is! This tiger had a foot the size of my whole arm, i swear. Just looking at it through the glass while it was peacefully sleeping, freaked me out of what i would do if it started chasing after me. :) I know, i'm weird. We also went in the smelly reptile building, and saw monkeys, birds, crocodiles, and all sorts of weird stuff.
The Hot Chocolate and these little heaters that we found every so often were my favorite part. Besides my cute husband, of course. :)
Tim and Brad are posing by this sign that they thought was so funny. It says "WARNING! Tigers spray to mark their territory. If you see one turn around and lift it's tail-please move out of the way. Thank you."
We found reindeer! Comet and Vixon to be exact. They were kind of being shy and wouldn't come by us, but it was fun to pretend like we were 3 again and think they were Santa's real reindeer.

After we were all frozen to death, we went into the gift shop of the Zoo to look at stuff. They had this free Santa's Workshop for the kids. Of course we were all over that. We got to make these animal ornaments for our Christmas tree. We were pretty excited. The elf's were so nice, and let us take a whole pack of them home to make some more.

All four of us showing what we made!
We had a blast with those two! We obviously love Tim, and i knew i would love Sarah before i even met her. Thank goodness for the Blackner family, and the FUN Christmas season! AND BRAD'S FINALS BEING OVER, SO I GET HIM ALL TO MYSELF!
