Brad and I were called to be Sunday School Teachers together in our ward just shortly after we were married. We LOVE this calling! We teach the 15-16 year olds, and they are just the funnest kids. But we are definitely glad we are not their parents. :) We love teaching the class together, alternating who teaches each week. We learn and grow a lot as a couple, bearing testimony to each other and to these youth.
Since we knew our time with these kids was coming to an end by the end of the year, we decided to have a Christmas party with them at our house! It was pretty wild. I made a million sugar cookies and frosting, so we decorated cookies, made christmas cards, and then doorbell ditched them on other ward members doorsteps.

We feel like they are all our friends! A few of them call Brad and ask for help on their chemistry homework, and we love that they feel comfortable enough to ask for help, and know that we are here for them. We also love laughing, and hearing all the high school scoop with them. Brad teases them all plenty, and it makes Brad and I feel like we are still their age. :) We miss them already!
